My father was an insurance man for his entire working career. He bought his own agency in 1970 and that’s when I started in the field working part time, after school.

I continued working for him throughout college to earn my share of my tuition. After college, I worked for him full time and have continued to work as an insurance professional since!

I have worked in insurance agencies all of these years and specialize in business insurance. I have issued thousands of certificates for my clients, complying with the requirements of their lenders, landlords, vendors, government entities, general contractors…the list goes on!

In recent years, 3rd party certificate compliance companies have been popping up. While these companies are there to be sure all certificates meet the clients’ requirements, the biggest problem I see with these companies is customer service. That’s why we formed Watchdog Risk Management – to provide good, old fashioned service to our customers.

I am also a photographer. We all need a way to express ourselves and photography fills that need for me. It’s a good thing too…you don’t want to hear me sing or see my drawings!

I have a degree in Business Management for the Music Industry.

After graduating college, I worked for Pam's father for 15 years, both in an agency setting and an MGA setting. I've been a Personal Lines Underwriter, Accounting Manager and Policy Issuance Manager. I have issued many COIs for a wide variety of clients.

I designed, built and managed an in-house commercial lines rating system for an MGA, which was tied to a commercial lines policy issuance program, which I also designed, built and managed.

Although I am highly experienced in running a music business, insurance is MUCH easier!

I have been an education professional for 25 years. I have a Masters in Special Education and have had a successful career helping young children with special needs to learn. I have been eager to bring elementary students into the twenty-first century by using a unique combination of education experience coupled with the ability to personally engage most students in learning. I'm always been dedicated to enthusiastic and dynamic teaching as a means of creating and nurturing a lifelong love of knowledge in children.

I bring a plethera of process and organizational skills to Watchdog. I have a knack for cutting to the chase to help simplify complicated issues. I strive to bring to life the importance of customer interactions with honesty and integrety.

I shoot pool when I can and I love the movies.

I am currently enrolled @ Kent State in the Risk Management degree program, headed for graduation in 2025.

My grandfather was the insurance patriarch of the family and his CPCU designation inspired me to take up a career in risk management - it runs in my blood!
